Deformity of the body, the mind or the soul is the main plight of the Tiger Lillies FREAKSHOW as it explores the deviant charms of the abnormal. The music carries us from scene to scene with thirty new songs in the infamous Tiger Lillies' style to tell us the tales of these peculiar and captivating creatures absolutely unique, charmingly odd and ultimately magical... Creatures with three hearts, six arms and Siamese twins attached at the hip, come to life to shock, thrill and satiate our curiosity of the bizarre. |

A unique and intoxicating blend of Sebastiano Toma's delicate and sensitive artistic view and the Tiger Lillies' raw sarcasm and poignant humour, the Tiger Lillies FREAKSHOW takes us on a journey to a parallel and taboo universe revolving around and challenging our own. The Tiger Lillies FREAKSHOW was inspired, encouraged and finally produced by ADaM Productions, the company that introduced the Tiger Lillies and Sebastiano Toma to the Greek audience in 2003 when the Tiger Lillies Circus became the talk of Athens with over 60 sold out performances. The FREAKSHOW premiered in ADaM Productions' very own Badminton Theater in January 2009 in celebration of the Tiger Lillies' 20th anniversary and was enjoyed by over 12,000 fans. In November 2009 the FREAKSHOW had its official German premiere and "took Munich's Tollwood Festival by storm" according to the high-profile German newspaper Süddeutsche Zeitung. Five magical performances in Tollwood's Grand Chapiteau earned the Tiger Lillies FREAKSHOW the praise of the German press and the hearts of the German audience. |
